Meet The Staff
Greetings and thank you for visiting my bio page!
My life’s mission: to educate, challenge, inspire and motivate people to improve their quality of life so they can make the years count, not just count the years. Whether that means helping you enjoy becoming active, losing weight, better managing how you deal with the stress or physical pain in your life, finding parenting strategies that work, or you are just ready to put some of your habits behind you and build what I call a “new normal” way of life, then I will help guide you to live the best life possible. Lastly, I feel that if you are confident and happier with yourself, you’re going to be a better parent, spouse, friend, worker and overall healthier.
I have 21 years in the Air Force and helping military members and many civilians lose weight, meet fitness standards, and get healthier and feel better about themselves. Why? So they can focus on their jobs, take care of the mission and take care of their families better. If they are healthier and feeling better about themselves, everyone will benefit from that.
How did I get to this point? I grew up in Billings, but I needed to get away for a while. I earned a BS in Exercise and Sport Science from Oregon State Univ. I also have an MBA from Webster Univ. I’ve taken a lot of leadership courses, and they all incorporated taking care of the people. I learned many lessons from great mentors and leaders on coping with work and personal challenges. In my civilian life, I’ve led two Air Force fitness centers and earned my ACSM certified personal trainer certificate in 2011. My Health and Wellness Coach certificate is from American Fitness Professionals and Associates.
I returned to Billings in 2015 with my two incredible kids, Max and Miya. Because of my children, I’m even more inspired to be a better person, mom, friend, etc. to set the example and never stop learning how to take better care of myself and them and have fun doing it. We have lots of fun!
I enjoy devouring any latest research on health and wellness, parenting, and self-help. I also love golfing, hiking, fishing, biking, traveling, volunteering, cooking, reading, and writing. I also take some downtime, which is important, too.
Like Dr. Grant, I strive to learn and be the best. We’re an incredible team. We want you to feel valued when you walk into the office, and that you leave after every appointment with a sense of pride in knowing that this journey is going to take you to a better place in your life. It isn’t a quick fix. Since it took years or even decades to get you to this point, it’ll take time to reach your goals. It’ll be worth it, and you deserve it.Coming Soon!
